2023 Period 1 General Dentistry Practical Examination application period stages have been released 4th Oct 2022 The 2023 Period 1 General Dentistry Practical Examination application period will be open in two stages. Eligibility This application period is open to candidates who: Have a valid initial assessment up to the end of the examination date Have a valid written examination up to the end of the examination date Have not sat, or are due to sit, a practical examination in the previous examination period Are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (minimum two doses) Stage 1 (11 – 24 October 2022) Stage 1 will be open for candidates that do not have a booked practical examination place between Sep-Dec 2022, and that have: a valid initial assessment expiring before 1 June 2023 and/or a valid written examination expiring in 2023 Stage 2 (18 – 24 October 2022) Stage 2 will be open for candidates that do not have a booked practical examination place between Sep-Dec 2022, and that have: have a valid initial assessment expiring after 1 June 2023 and/or have a valid written examination expiring after 2023 Applications for Stage 2 will be accepted on a first come first serve basis and may close prior to the advertised closing date, depending on seat availability. In the event of the period closing earlier, a waiting list will be created and interested candidates will be invited to sit as places become available. Stage 1 candidates have been emailed to confirm their priority allocation. Any candidate who believes they should be in Stage 1 and who has not received a confirmation email should contact the ADC team at [email protected]. Stage 2 candidates will receive email confirmations before the opening of Stage 2 on 18 October.
