The ADC launches ADC Connect

The ADC is excited to announce the launch of its new online self-service portal, ADC Connect. This online self-service platform will be activated in stages, starting with the application period for the March 2022 written examination.

March 2022 written examination application period

On 6 December 2021, candidates eligible to apply for the March 2022 written examination were sent an email inviting them to activate their ADC Connect account. Candidates at this stage are asked to check their spam or junk folders for the email as it is automatically generated.

These candidates also received an email instructing them on the written examination application process. We strongly recommend those who have received this email read the contents carefully as it contains important information about the process to apply for the March 2022 written examination.

If you believe that you are eligible to apply for the March 2022 written examination, but have not received an email by Wednesday 8 December 2021, please email the ADC via [email protected] using the subject line ADC Connect account. To ensure we accurately capture the full list of candidates we kindly ask you email your enquiry rather than calling our office.

Practical examination application period

Candidates eligible to apply for practical examinations in 2022 will receive an invitation to activate their ADC Connect account in mid-December. They will also receive an email with more information on how to apply for practical examinations in 2022.

Existing initial assessment candidates

The ADC is working to process initial assessments, including renewal applications and skills assessments, received in 2021. Candidates awaiting their outcome will receive their outcome letter via their ADC Connect account.

You will receive an email inviting you to activate your ADC Connect account when your application has been assessed by our team.

New candidates

Information for candidates wanting to start their dental practitioner assessment process will be available on the ADC website in early 2022. We strongly recommend you continue to monitor our website for the most up to date information.

Other stakeholders

In the coming months assessors, education providers, examiners, item writers, Board and Committee members will be invited to activate their ADC Connect accounts. During this time we will provide you with more information on how to use the system.
